Letters / forms
TAX LETTER
When an employee is charged by his home country on his worldwide income he can obtain a so-called tax letter. This letter explains that the employee has already paid taxes in his country of assignment.
Be advised that Stichting EMBO does NOT supply these letters but they need or can be requested from the Company. Why you might ask? EMBO is NOT the tax payer.. this is you (SLB does it for you) EMBO only refunds the taxes back to you.
New employee / Transfer in
When you are new to the company and you are an IM (international mobile) or you transferred in from another country. you should or will be requested by HR to sign the Stichting EMBO enrolment forms. These forms form part of your IM contract.
Depending on your country of assignment you will need to sign the following forms, and send them via e-mail directly to the fund:
• Enrolment form
• Debit authorization form
• Tax agent form (optional) only applicable when assigned to EUROPE
If above forms are not send within 1 month your refund (if applicable) will be suspended.
Often EMBO will email you directly with the request to sign the forms. This is because experience has taught us that HR is not always forwarding the forms within a timely manner and/or request the employee to sign.
